I saw it grow, saw new features added... and then saw admins turn this place from a community into an ill-designed cash cow with anything nearly deserving of the word "deviant" banned. Gallows Girl Amy is the latest victim. When my core membership expires, I will not be renewing. I suspect many of the users who have been on here a while will also be jumping ship. This site should change its name to "Safely Nude Pictures."
So I found this meme...
floating around Facebook, from the United Methodist Church. It suggested a picture based on concepts for each day during Lent, 2013. So I'm giving it a go, although facebook is likely to have the quicker updates.
Of course, since I'm a Witch, some pictures may not be exactly what a Christian Church may have had in mind... :evillaugh:

So what is this Lupercalia, anyway?
Lupercalia is the *original* "Valentine's Day". In fact, St. Valentine's day, as appropriated by the Christian Church, has nothing to do with romantic love. The Greeks had three different words for love: Agape (divine love), Filios (brotherly love), and Eros (romantic love). While the Lupercalia had to do with the fierce, unbridled expression of Eros, the Feast of Saint Valentine has to do with the other two.
